NYCC: Even The Actors Are Scared Of Friday The 13th![]()
I'm not going to spoil anything about Friday the 13th, because seriously, what kind of fun would that be? At the Warner Bros. panel on Saturday they showed us the first five minutes of the movie, or at least five minutes that come early in the movie (presumably the credits happen at some point). And while you can pretty much guess the particulars, given that this is a movie starring Jason Voorhees, I'd hate to let you know how he manages to make sleeping bags, bathtubs, and having some innocent sex in a tent seem scary. Whoops, I've already said too much.
Instead, check out this short clip below, in which stars Jared Padalecki and Derek Mears (who takes on the role of Jason) talk about how they became fans of the series. Of course, everyone has stories about Friday the 13th, but only Mears knows what it's like to be terrified by Jason-- and then become him. Friday the 13th, billed as the series return to its roots, comes out this Friday-- the 13th, of course. |
