Naomi Watts NOT In Harry Potter

By Josh Tyler: 2007-07-26 03:41:05
Naomi Watts NOT In Harry Potter Some days the internet works so fast, that it feels like a big, tangled mess. Such is the case with the Harry Potter 6 casting story we brought you yesterday here. Rumor had it that Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes, and Stuart Townsend were signing on to the movie. Today, it’s all been denied.

MTV put their mighty rolodex to work contacting the representatives of those three actors, in all three reps denied everything. “Not true,” was the answer MTV got to everything.

So, who do you want to believe? It wouldn’t be the first time some actor’s reps lied through their teeth in order to push ongoing negotiations in their direction. Sometimes they end up going before the press the very next day and completely contradicting themselves. On the other hand, the source for the affirmative rumor is the gossip section of an Australian newspaper. Let’s face it, neither source is very good.

Would Naomi Watts make a brilliant choice as the super-hot mother of Draco Malfoy? Yes. Will she do it? Your guess is as good as mine at this point.
