The Scream franchise is getting back on its feet in Michigan right now as Wes Craven and company get under way filming Scream 4, the long-awaited follow up to his hit series from the 90's and early 2000's. Everyone seems to be super excited about it, but maybe they shouldn't be after seeing this picture of Neve Campbell.

The picture comes from Access Hollywood host Nancy O'Dell (Courtesy of Shock Til You Drop) who accompanies the newly shorn Campbell in the image. I'm not one to judge, but this is not Neve Campbell looking her best. The short hair smells strongly of the insufferable Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate "fame" and just straight up doesn't work for her.

Nonetheless, this is a picture from backstage on Scream 4 and is proof that the movie is definitely happening even after losing Lake Bell. Wes Craven's sequel will be hitting theaters April 15th, 2011 so get your Ghostface masks ready.
