The information trickle on JJ Abrams’ secret 1-18-08, aka Cloverfield continues. They’ve started releasing photos, presumably from the film, on one of the movie’s official sites here.

The first one you may have already seen, but the second two are fairly new. One looks like another snippet from the party scene we saw from the trailer, the other however shows what looks like women making their way through heavy smoke. It’s hard to tell where they are or what’s going on… which is exactly what the studio wants. As long as people are guessing, they’re still talking about the movie.

Personally, I’m getting a little tired of the whole thing. There’s no way this movie can live up to the hype. Hell, it already doesn’t. Come on, the trailer really isn’t that great. Oh wow, a distant explosion. Never seen the before. It's mildly interesting, and getting way too much attention simply because it's confusing.
