I’ve been told by those who have seen it that 50/50 should be my most anticipated movie for what’s left of this year. I can’t do that in a world where The Muppets exists, but I’m pretty excited to see what Jonathan Levine is up to. He was the writer/director of a Sundance movie I loved called The Wackness and he’s directing Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen in 50/50 as well.

That said if like me you haven’t seen the movie yet, maybe that first teaser trailer didn’t do much for you. Don’t worry, this one will. Here’s the new, pretty great, trailer for 50/50… which I still wish they’d left titled as I’m With Cancer.

I’m convinced Levitt’s destined for an Oscar at some point in his career and the Academy does like movies about cancer. But even if this doesn’t win any awards, there’s definitely something worthwhile going on here.
