Yesterday some new photos from the set of the Marc Webb-directed The Amazing Spider-Man were posted online. Featuring the webslinger airborne and flying around New York on cables, the big mystery was whether or not it was actually star Andrew Garfield that was flying above the streets or a trained stuntman (my money was on the latter). While we probably won't know until Garfield is doing the press rounds next year, but what we can be certain of is that he is getting some time in the costume.

Splash News has posted a new gallery of shots from the set of the new Spider-Man movie, which recently began the New York leg of its production schedule. While most of the photos have the young actor sporting the mask, there are also two shots of Garfield out of costume and the write-up says that it is Garfield we're looking at.
