Finally, finally, finally, James Cameron is letting the public at large get a good, long look at the alien creatures he's created for Avatar, the Na'vi. Two weeks ago we saw the first official poster, which featured Sam Worthington in his Avatar figure, a human-Na'vi hybrid used for humans to navigate the planet of Pandora. Now there's the same poster featuring Zoe Saldana's character Neytiri, a Na'vi princess who rescues Worthington's character from attack ,and shows him a whole new way of seeing Pandora.
JoBlo has the full poster; I'm currently trying to track down our very own giant version. In the meantime, check out theirs, and revel in Saldana's beauty translated into an alien life form, with starry freckles and a yellow, animalistic eye that pretty much promises "I can kick your ass, and yes, I know I'm gorgeous." It's nothing like seeing Avatar in motion, but as we make our way toward Avatar day on August 21, it's a good teaser.
