It’s been weeks since we’ve seen anything new from James Cameron’s Avatar, and so Fox is about to give your hype-gland another shot of marketing adrenaline. A brand new three minute and thirty second trailer for Avatar will debut this weekend in theaters, starting on Friday, October 23rd.

No word yet on which movies it’ll play in front of, you may simply have to buy your ticket and take your chances. 20th Century Fox doesn’t have anything new opening this weekend, though Fox Searchlight does have Amelia beginning it’s Oscar bid. And should you not wish to buy an endless string of Cirque du Freak tickets until you stumble over the new trailer, according to Coming Soon you’ll have to wait an entire week, until October 29th, before the new Avatar trailer shows up online.
