Before heading out to drink bad green beer last night, I caught myself watching Entertainment Tonight and contemplating how I could turn a bad music career into a promising tv hosting gig. Hey, it worked for John Tesh and Mark McGrath! In between thoughts on how I could make my hair look like Sugar Ray’s, I saw a vision of striking beauty. No, not Mary Hart; the new Batman Begins poster!

This is quite easily one of the best posters I have seen in the past couple of years. No floating heads, no dorky poses; just a poster that informs the audience yet still maintains an artistic style (So I’m not high cultured, sue me.) Batman Begins returns to Bruce Wayne’s childhood and spins the tale of how your average son of a gazillionaire become a leather wearing superhero driven by his personal need for vengeance. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Ken Watanabe, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson and Katie Holmes star in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of the famed comic icon.

Batman begins on June 17th.
