I reviewed Hollywoodland on CB several weeks ago here, and now the first wave of mainstream critical reviews is starting to roll out on the film. I loved it, and so far the critical consensus on it seems to agree.

It's not a happy film, in fact you'll probably leave it feeling pretty bummed, but it's one you've absolutely got to see. Yes, even though Ben Affleck is in it.

Today Focus Featured emailed me a stack of new stills and clips from the film, that reminded me again of just how good Coulter's film really is. If you haven't heard much about Hollywoodland yet, just wait. When it opens on September 8 you will.
