New Drive Angry Poster Makes Sure You Know It Was Shot In 3D image
If we've learned anything about 3D in the past year, it's that people hate post-conversion. And why shouldn't they? If audiences are going to shell out an extra $4 for some cheap, plastic glasses, there should be some added spectacle, not the appearance of cardboard cutouts. Apparently marketing people have finally figured this out and are no applying it to their movie posters.

STYD has premiered the newest poster for Patrick Lussier's Drive Angry, but while it's not new for movies to advertise the fact that the film is in "3D", the people behind this work are driving home a point by putting "Shot in 3D" right on the one-sheet. Is this the next step being taken by movie studios to keep the fad going? Is it a last ditch effort before the extra-dimension phase dies? Only way to know is to look at the box office receipts.

Check out the poster below or in it's highest resolution over at STYD.
