Both the first feature trailer and the international trailer were ludicrously hysterical, but were missing one small element: the plot. While those who do their research know that the film is about Robert Downey Jr.'s character trying to get back home to see his wife give birth, it hasn't been evident in the marketing thus far. That changes today

Apple has released the second domestic trailer for the film and not only does it include the first look at the beautiful Michelle Monaghan, but is also packed with plenty of new footage, including an extended look at Jamie Foxx, and scenes with Danny McBride and Todd Philips regular Matt Walsh. Just do your best not to lose it like I did when RDJ spits on the dog (PETA is going to have a field day with that one).

Check out the trailer below or in HD over at Apple.

Great stuff, right? The film is basically a remake of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but the dynamic between Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. is so perfect that you really find yourself not caring. Frankly, if this is even half as funny as the John Candy-Steve Martin classic then we will be in good shape. If I do have to have one complaint, it would be the "using the ashes as coffee" joke. Looks like the writers aren't watching enough South Park (not to mention there is a major missed opportunity if they don't have a Big Lebowski joke). So what do you think?
