Even though Ryan Reynolds will be credited as being the Green Lantern when the film of the same name opens this summer, that's not exactly how the comic book mythology works. Turns out there's an entire crew of Green Lanterns, called the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force charged with protecting the universe. All those aliens in green power suits you saw in the Wonder Con footage are the Corps-- and now you can get an even closer look at them.

MTV's Splash Page has premiered a new banner for the film that shows off the entire alien Green Lantern Corps crew; you can take a look at it below or click on it for MTV's high-res version. Of the people in this image I recognize Reynolds, of course, and Mark Strong's character Sinestro… and that's about it. Am I supposed to know these characters yet? Or are they all just background elements of a story that's still all about Reynolds and his ascension as the human Green Lantern? I have no idea, and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
