DreamWorks isn’t Pixar. They’ve made Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and then a bunch of other mildly entertaining movies which are mostly useless unless you’re looking for something to shut up your kids. But all of those movies, even the bad ones like Shrek the Third, have made a mint and so DreamWorks is using its past success as a means of convincing you to see their new effort, How to Train Your Dragon. It’ll probably work, but I’d rather see more of their new fire breathing creation.

Still the new How to Train You Dragon trailer does contain at least some actual Dragon footage and even an occasional viking, wedged in after clips from Madagascar and Shrek. Watch it below:
