You may not have heard too much yet about The Last Exorcism, but I'm going to make sure you do. Why? Because the poster released last week finally showed some design talent and thought, rather than the pile of floating heads and shitty one liners we usually get. Director Daniel Stamm has inspired confidence in his film simply because someone on his team has half a creative brain in their head.

We still don't have a trailer, but a new image has appeared over at IMDb to add to the two other new ones we saw a few days ago. While these surely aren't going to be the scariest frames in the film, they at least give you a sense of the tone and atmosphere. The film hits theaters August 27th with the expert help of horror veteran Eli Roth who served as one of the film's producers.
