I think I’ve rambled on enough about how excited I am for Wall-E that there’s really no purpose continuing to ramble about it. I’m excited. I can’t wait for Pixar to knock another one out of the park. And… I’m rambling again, aren’t I?
I’m not sure anyone who is as interested in Wall-E as I am could possibly blame me for my excitement. After all, Pixar Planet/Upcoming Pixar has unearthed some new shots of the cute little robot featured in the new issue of Total Film. The shots include Wall-E with that grasshopper we’ve seen before, a cute shot of the robot pondering a Rubic’s cube, and (if I’m not mistaken), a few shots in the background with Eve, Wall-E’s love interest.
The article really carries writer/director Andrew Stanton’s enthusiasm for his movie, especially the comment about feeling like his child is graduating from school every time he sees a shot of Wall-E. That’s why Pixar manages to make such good movies – because they create characters everyone feels that way about, not just the creator.
