Amid rumors that a new trailer for Iron Man 2 will debut in front of either Avatar or Sherlock Holmes, Apple has beaten everyone to the punch by debuting a brand-new poster for the film featuring none other than Whiplash, the villain played by Mickey Rourke.

Posing in the shadows in front of a wall full of Tony Stark's press clippings, wearing his full suit of armor and a wicked set of dreadlocks, Whiplash looks terrifying and awesome at the same time. Having missed the Iron Man 2 footage at Comic Con, I can't wait to see what this guy looks like in motion, and this image is an excellent preview.
