MOVIE NEWS
New Lake House Stills![]()
While rooting around through the press kit full of photos for The Lake House that Warner Brothers sent us, I stumbled on something rather surprising: The Lake House is rated PG! When was the last time you saw anything in theaters rated PG that wasn't a kids movie? Wait, this isn't a kids movie is it? If it isn't, it's kind of refreshing to get something for adults that you'd feel comfortable watching with your grandparents. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of censoring movies down to get a lower rating, but if a film happens to just turn out as PG material without any excessive cutting… well that's rather nice. Wasn't there a time when you saw more PG movies for individuals over ten? Or did I only dream it?
Anyway, The Lake House is starting to look pretty good. I'm sure Asian cinephiles will jump out and shout that this is a travesty and you should watch the original overseas version instead, but the truth is we'd all probably rather look at Sandra and Keanu. We've got a ton of new photos from the film for you, handed off from the WB in that aforementioned press kit. To see them all, click over to our Lake House image gallery here. |
