The fifth Harry Potter movie Order of the Phoenix is still more than a year off, but the cast is already shaping up for it. Of course most of the familiar faces from the previous films will be returning, but the CBBC Newsround has the latest on some of the new actors being added for the next installment.
They’re reporting that Helen McCrory, who played the Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange in the last movie, will not appear in movie number 5. She’s apparently on her way to being very pregnant, too pregnant to play the part. So, Warner Bros. has gone out and gotten Tim Burton muse Helena Bonham Carter to take over the part. Helena actually looks like she’s eaten death, so she’ll be a perfect fit.
In other more minor additions, Apple Brook has been cast Care of Magical Creatures professor Grubbly-Plank. Young Sirius will be played by James Walters, young Lupin James Utechin, and young Snape by Alec Hopkins.
Harry Potter 5 is being directed by British indie director David Yates. Look for it in theaters July 13th of 2007.
