New Poster For The Guillermo Del Toro Produced Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark![]()
Much in the same way that Cabin in the Woods and the Red Dawn remake got shelved once MGM went into bankruptcy, the Guillermo Del Toro-produced Don't Be Afraid of the Dark has had a rough time trying to get to theaters. Delayed due to the sale of Miramax, the film is finally set to be released on August 12 this year and from the look of the teaser trailer that was released last summer, it should be absolutely terrifying. Now the marketing department is wiping the dust off of the project and have kicked things off with a new poster.
Hosted over at Fangoria, the one-sheet is fairly small, but a pretty cool piece of design work nonetheless. Seemingly hand drawn with a bunch of shadowy claws reaching out at a person's feet, it's a nice poster if not a little uninspired. Check it out below. ![]() |
