John C. Reilly’s new movie Walk Hard is supposed to be in general, a loose parody of musician biopics, and in specific a parody of the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. So I have no idea what’s going on in the movie’s new poster which, doesn’t seem to be a parody of anything, unless you count John C. Reilly’s nipples.

You can see it there to your right, but it’s exclusive to another site so you’ll have to click over there to see it bigger. At least until tomorrow when we get it emailed to us. That’s usually how this works.

The poster may not do a very good job of parodying Walk the Line, but I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. Unless you’re high or twelve parody movies just aren’t funny anyway. This poster is funny, and if they’ve avoided taking the parody thing too literally and focused instead on writing a funny script for Walk Hard… well then prepare to laugh your ass off at John C.’s hilarious nipples.

Walk Hard hits theaters December 21st.
