I can honestly say that until this featurette at Coming Soon, I've had little faith in what The Princess and the Frog has had to offer. Now, I have renewed hope that Disney's return to classic animation will not be quite as terrible as I originally thought.

This two and a half minute clip gives us a look at the classic good vs. evil element of the story by introducing us to Mama Odie and Dr. Facilier, representing light and dark respectively. Facilier is looking to take over New Orleans with his shadow army, while Odie is there to thwart him, as well as help return Tiana and Prince Naveen to their true forms.

Most important for a Disney film like this, though, is the music, which gets featured here quite prominently. You get a really good feel for how this film is going to sound just by hearing a few selections in this short clip. Check it out below.
