I could have told you weeks ago that the first poster for The Losers was going to look like this. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that after a comic book art promo depicting the six “losers” and their actor credits came out, the first thing the studio would do would be to shoot the same thing with the actors themselves. I promise you before the end of the next week or so we’ll see the new photo with the same poster typography slapped on it.

The new cast image comes courtesy of the LA Times who also sat down for a very non-informative interview with the film’s director Sylvain White. In way more words than I’ll use, White isn’t afraid that The A-Team will bury his special-ops film simply because his comes out first. You’ll also learn that Zoe Saldana is great, bringing a great balance of action and drama to the film. The rest of the interview just belabors those two facts.

With The Losers’ release date creeping up on us (April 9, 2010), expect a heavy deluge of promo material coming from the comic adaptation. Just a few days ago we saw the first trailer for the film, and now you can check out the new pre-poster promo below.
