New Set Photos Capture Captain America On A Motorcycle![]()
We’ve seen a few idealized artist renderings of what Chris Evans will look like as Captain America, but we’ve never seen the costume in anything like real world conditions. That changes right now with new, set photos captured by the Daily Mail which spotted a stunt man dressed as Cap blasting through the English countryside on a motorcycle in full Captain America uniform while shooting the upcoming Marvel movie.
So what’s Cap doing on a motorcycle in merry old England? Unlike all the other Marvel movies, this one’s a period film set in World War II, with Cap battling the Nazi march across Europe. Here’s a couple of the photos. Click them to see more on the tabloid site where they originated: ![]()
So let’s be honest: In this context he looks a little bit like a blue, motorcycle-riding, cartoon turtle. But this is a candid photo taken by a bunch of Paparazzi of a stunt man wearing the costume. It’s not Chris Evans, it’s not a properly lit scene, it’s not meant to look good. In the context of the film, it’s going to look a lot better. So go easy on what you’re seeing here. Odds are that when you see the costume on film it’ll look more like this:
At least the look of the film seems pretty consistent. Here’s a couple of villains on futuristic looking bikes they captured. On their shoulders they bear the Red Skull’s symbol and they have that same sort of turtle on a motorcycle look that Cap has going for him:
