The Simpsons are coming to the theater, and they have a third trailer to prove it. Of course I have to take Fox's word for it, because it’s only available in windows media and I am but a humble Mac user toiling away until I am swept into a river of fire and Bill Gates drinks blood from my charred skull. Or so PC users tell me (worse then Evangelical Christians these people).
Anyway, apparently this keeps the hilarious CG opening from the second trailer (Dat Bunny ain’t breathing) but follows it up with a new clip. There have been a lot of sayers of nay on this new film. But the recent rather dramatic upswing in the quality of recent Simpsons episodes is encouraging. Metallica! The White Stripes! Tom Wolfe! Frazen and Chabon beating the crap out eachother! Actual relevant social commentary! That hasn’t been seen on The Simpsons for at least a decade. I can’t wait. So here is the clip. Huzzah.
