New Spy Kids: All The Time In The World Trailer Introduces Aromascope![]()
I actually like Robert Rodriguez. Sure, his movies aren't going to be winning Oscars any time soon, but for the most part they are harmless, story-driven entertainment. The problem is that he's a father who think it's necessary to dedicate half of his time to making films that his young children will enjoy. That's why instead of getting Sin City 2 this year we're getting Spy Kids: All The Time In The World, and no matter how you feel about the Frank Miller series of graphic novels, watching the trailer below will convince you that his scheduling choices are terrible.
The fourth film in the franchise introduces two new kids (Mason Cook, Rowan Blanchard), who discover that their step mom (Jessica Alba) is actually a spy. When a villain called the Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) plans to take over the world, however, they must jump into action and save him. The film also stars Joel McHale, Ricky Gervais, Danny Trejo, Alexa Vega, Antonio Banderas, and Daryl Sabara. The film is not only being presented in 3D, but theaters will also be handing out scratch-and-sniff cards that the audience will be able to use during key scenes.
