Will Ferrell is rapidly becoming an annual staple. Despite the failure of his big screen Bewitched last year, it just isn’t a complete movie year without some wacky Ferrell character, whether it’s Frank the Tank in Old School, Ron Burgandy in Anchorman, or even minor appearances like Starsky & Hutch or Wedding Crashers.

This year’s Ferrell offering looks to beat all the others with his steering wheel behind his back. In August Will Ferrell becomes NASCAR legend Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights. The new trailer gives a bigger look at the film’s storyline, which apparently will deal with a meltdown of the driver after an accident. Like legendary fighters of the past, Ricky Bobby will need to be nursed back to health using a variety of wild techniques. If the trailer is any indication, wackiness does ensue.
