Every film nerd in the world has been excited for Burke and Hare since its announcement way back in August of 2009. Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, and the legendary John Landis? What wasn’t to be excited for? Well they added Isla Fisher, Tim Curry and Tom Wilkinson to the cast, and then capped it off with Pegg’s Spaced costar Jessica Hynes, nee Stevenson, to fully round out the nerd quotient of the film.

Well, now after over a year of waiting, the first trailer for the film has finally hit the internet at Hey U Guys in grand style. Despite how hard the editors try to make this trailer into a huge cliche with cheesy voice over and poor music choices, the humor has no problem shining through the stereotypes. Burke and Hare looks hilarious, charming, and most of all fun. Who would have thought any of that about a movie chronicling the lives of two men murdering people then selling their corpses to a university?
