As if to affirm that despite rumors to the contrary, they're still supporting Mel Gibson's next movie Apocalypto, Touchstone has released a brand new trailer for the film. Say what you want about Mel, but he sure knows how to shoot a gorgeous looking piece of celluloid. Apocalypto's no exception. It's absolutely lush with style, light, and color.
One problem though. We're now two trailers in and I still have no idea what the movie's about. I see half-naked Indians. I see jungle. Oh look, a crazy priest! A panther! What the hell is this movie about? From the trailer, there's no way you'd ever know.
See for yourself. Watch the new trailer by clicking here. No crazy, hidden Mel Gibson messages in it this time, at least none that I was able to find. If you find one, let me know about it.
