New United 93 Images![]()
I'm still not sure how I feel about United 93. Perhaps it never should have been made. But it has been made, and the film's director Paul Greengrass deserves some credit. He's handling the subject with as much delicacy as possible.
Maybe it really is just a cash-in, but Greengrass and Universal are going out of their way to make it look noble. Everything, from the film's trailer, to Greengrass interviews, to the new stills just released to us from the film are nothing but classy and sensitive. There's no sensationalism involved, and the focus of the film and its marketing seems to be on the courage and heroism of the American passengers involved. In fact, we've yet to see any of the Arab terrorists in any of the pics released from the movie. There are now fourteen stills in our image gallery for United 93, and not one of them features the face of one of those extremist murderers, or a sensational action shot of passengers storming the cockpit. It's just Greengrass and his actors, trying to put the best face possible on an incredibly touchy subject. Maybe this movie shouldn't be made right now, but if it was going to be, I think they've found the best possible way to do it.
