One of my absolute favorite teaser trailers out right now is the trailer for WALL-E. If you haven’t seen it, the trailer kind of shows how far Pixar has come since a lunch meeting between John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, and a few of the other big names involved in the company. At that lunch they came up with a variety of ideas which led to some of Pixar’s big hits so far, including Toy Story and Monsters Inc. The last of those ideas is Pixar’s next film: WALL-E.
Although the premise of the trailer is great for those of us who absolutely adore Pixar, it doesn’t reveal too much about the movie itself. Now the word from Upcoming Pixar is that another trailer will be coming online on Tuesday, October 2nd. Some suspect the trailer might contain some of the Comic-Con presentation from this summer. Traditionally, however, the early teaser trailer for Pixar movies contains exclusive material that isn’t actually from the movie but helps set up the idea. Based on the posters and ads that have been released so far, I’m thinking an advertisement for the WALL-E model robot might be in order.
The trailer is set to debut online at Yahoo! Movies but there’s no need to sit in front of your computer refreshing your screen all day Tuesday. I’m sure we’ll let you know the second we find out it’s online.
