The film’s official, new, American trailer doesn’t arrive till tomorrow but those wiley Frenchies have a new trailer right now. The second trailer for Wall-E is available right here. It’s in French, but there’s no talking in it so it doesn’t really matter.
Much of the trailer seems occupied with getting Wall-E to interact with the Pixar logo, which is actually sort of cute and seems to be Pixar’s way of welcoming their cute little robot character into the family by letting him hang out with their lamp. When I describe it, it sounds much less cute than it actually is. Otherwise it sticks to the same theme of a sad little robot staring up at a big, starry sky.
Tomorrow the new domestic trailer is supposed to debut, till then learn to love the French.
UPDATE! The domestic, English language version is now also online here.
