New Wanted Poster Just Rehashed Exclusive Universal has released a new poster for the summer’s big question mark picture, Wanted. The concept of a brotherhood of assassins has a lot of potential, but I’m not certain it has enough appeal to compete with Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and the like, even with Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy attached.

I may not be the only one who has those doubts. It looks like Universal is cutting costs on marketing by reusing the same photo shoot. This new poster is almost identical to the New York Comic-Con exclusive we saw a week ago. Eliminate the color, the big “Wanted” title treatment, make Jolie more meditative, and get rid of McAvoy and you’ve pretty much got the same poster. I have to wonder if they might release a McAvoy version of the poster too, basically giving the movie the character poster treatment.

Head over to our image gallery to see a larger version of the new poster.
