Given how long we spent not all that certain that Watchmen would ever come out, it feels a little strange to see TV spots for the movie. OMG, you guys, this is really happening! But TheMovieBox.net has uploaded one of the new TV teasers over at YouTube, proof once and for all that we haven't been looking forward to March 6 in vain.

I like this spot especially because we've seen so few Watchmen spots with actual dialogue in it. Usually it's just Rorschach's gruff mumbling and a lot of overly portentous music. But they even let the girl speak in this one! And they get into some of the darker themes of the movie without making the whole thing look like a gloom and doom fest. Check out the TV spot at the link, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised when this comes on in the middle of 60 Minutes.
