When you take a beloved children’s book to the big screen, you’re either going to be a hero or torn to pieces for defaming a story so many people consider a significant part of their childhood. Lucky for Spike Jonez, every bit of material from Where The Wild Things Are that’s reached the public eye, has been nothing short of glorious.

This brand new poster unveiled on MSN Movies is no exception. Its simplicity enhances the degree of warmth the image emits reaffirming Jonez’s effort to keep the film organic and in sync with the source material. Jonez hit a homerun with all of the promotional items so let’s hope the actual film meets the subsequent high expectations when it hits theaters October 16th.
