Fox was one of the studios that skipped the Super Bowl marketing frenzy. They’re making up for it now. They’ve announced that this weekend they’ll debut three, special, sixty-second spots for X-Men Origins: Wolverine which will air on the network starting Sunday.

The first spot will air on Fox Sunday, February 15th during Family Guy. The second on Monday, February 16th during House. The third will show up on Tuesday, February 17th during American Idol. As for what exactly they’ll be showing during those spots, your guess is as good as ours. Fox calls it an “unprecedented promotional event”.

I’m not sure how unprecedented it is, but if you’re as excited about Wolverine as we are, then be sure to tune in.
