X-Men Origins: Wolverine is definitely underway and Hugh Jackman has donned his claws again. We know because there’s been photographic evidence already of Jackman in Logan-style poses: claws popped out and on the offensive. In fact, that’s all we’ve seen from the project so far, despite a growing cast list. Still, we’ll take it.
IGN has the latest image of Jackman as Wolverine, standing in some run-down warehouse or cell of sorts. That’s a small version of the image to the right, but you can click over to IGN to see the full sized picture.
I don’t know about this spin-off. Jackman has been great as Wolverine as part of an ensemble, but every picture I’ve seen so far has made me wary of what the character might be like without that crowd of characters to interact with. While it sounds like we’re going to have quite a few characters still for Wolverine to contend with (both as enemies and allies), I’m just not sure it’ll be the same. Still, it can’t possibly be worse than Brent Ratner’s take on X3, can it?
