The marketing campaign for X-Men: First Class has been one of the strangest I've ever seen. While all of the trailers have been top notch, the posters have been godawful, be it the face-on-crotch posters from a few months back or this recent Photoshop disaster. Now clips are starting to come out and we can hope that they show off the superhero movie in a more positive light.
Hosted by Yahoo!, the first clip features Xavier taking a meeting with members of the Central Intelligence Agency. If you're wondering why nobody seems to know about mutants just yet, you must remember that this is a period piece taking place years before Bryan Singer's timeline. To someone who doesn't know about mutations, it might all look like fancy magic tricks. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, X-Men: First Class hits theaters on June 3.
