New X3 Trailer Online![]()
The first full trailer for X-Men: The Last Stand debuted tonight on Fox television during "24". It's now online, and once you see it you'll probably find yourself asking: What the hell happened to Wolverine?
He's in the trailer, a lot. Of course he is, he's still the star. But he's changed. He's softer, gentler. His voice is compassionate, and frankly he sounds like he's trying to win a Tony Award. It's not easy to spot, but close your eyes and listen to Hugh Jackman when he talks. That's NOT Wolverine talking. That's Tony Award Host Hugh Jackman. My god, what if Wolvy breaks into a song and dance number? Combine the sound of Wolverine's voice in this new trailer with the character poster to your right, and the evidence is mounting. Wolverine has gone soft. Tony Award Winning soft. But if you're not looking closely at the little details like that in this trailer, it comes off pretty good. There's action, there's deep, meaningful voiceovers. It's only when you start paying attention to more than just the big, flashy effects shots on the surface that the difference between this and the work of Bryan Singer is revealed. It's not a good difference. Judge for yourself. To watch the first full X-Men: The Last Stand trailer, click here. For more info and images from X-Men 3, visit our, preview page. |
