Next Fast And The Furious Gets A Streamlined Title![]()
The Fast and the Furious series has had so many sequels, knockoffs and retreads at this point that I had forgotten either Vin Diesel or Paul Walker was ever involved. But now the pair that originated the series back in 2001 will be on screen together again—with lots of awesome cars along for company, of course.
Cinematical got its hands on Universal’s official plot and title for the fourth film, which will be simply titled Fast and Furious. Diesel and Walker’s characters, a fugitive and a cop, will spark up their rivalry again, but are forced to team up in the face of “a shared enemy.” Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, also from the first film, will be reprising their characters as well. A review of the script also popped up online at Latino Review, a where they call the next movie “by far the best of the four movies.” The details seem to match up with the new official plot summary, so those of you looking for lots of spoilers can head over there for your fix. A fourth sequel of anything is almost never a good idea, but if they’ve managed to bring back the two stars from the first one, maybe they have something good going on here. You can’t really go wrong with fast, awesome cars and muscled dudes, but it’s even better if you’ve got a decent story to go along with it. |
