Y'know, when you think of movies filmed in Iowa, there's pretty much only one that ever comes to mind: Field of Dreams, duh. It's really about time that something else be added to the Iowa filmography. Now Nick Stahl, Rose McGowan and Amy Smart are helping the cause, joining the cast of the supernatural love story Dylan's Wake.

According to THR the film will be funded with a combination of private equity and Iowa tax credits. Stahl will play a man working at a funeral parlor and trying to unravel a 10-year-old mystery, while McGowan and Smart will presumably play some of the hot chicks in his life. All three stars somehow feel like leftovers from the 90s, but it might be interesting to see what they can do out in those cornfields.
