Headed into theaters later this fall is a thriller about a teacher who gets himself mixed up in a mess of trouble after he makes a deal with a mysterious stranger. While the description for Seeking Justice doesn’t necessarily scream must-see, the trailer, which features stars Nicolas Cage, January Jones and Guy Pearce, does offer a bit of intrigue as we get a glimpse of the trouble Cage’s character is in for.

As you’ll see in the trailer, courtesy of The Sun, Cage’s character Gerard is married to Jones’ Laura. When Laura is attacked in her car at night, Gerard seeks justice by accepting the terms offered by a mysterious stranger (Pearce), who offers to exact vengeance (or “justice”) in exchange for some future favor.


Given that the damage to his wife is already done, it seems kind of foolish to accept such vague terms for the sake of an eye for an eye, however it does make for an interesting set-up for some suspenseful thriller. What will be required of him to pay back the “favor”? I guess we’ll have to wait and see when the film hits theaters. The Sun has the release date set for November 18th, which may be the U.K. release for the film.
