Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Trailer

A Nightmare on Elm Street is the latest franchise to get the Hollywood reboot treatment, only, there’s a least a chance that this one may have been done. For starters, they cast the perfect actor to take over as Freddy Krueger. Jackie Earle Haley is putting on Freddy’s claws to terrorize the dreams of good looking teenagers in the new installment. And yet, even though personally I have only a passing interest in this franchise, I’m having a hard time adjusting to seeing Haley as the character Robert Englund embodied for so long, in the reboot version’s first trailer.

If you can get past watching someone else besides Englund underneath Freddy’s hat, then I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised. Check out the first ever trailer for the 2010 version of A Nightmare on Elm Street below:
