No Hostel 3

Hollywood has a long history of tarnishing great films with slightly worse sequels and horrid, ill-advised third movies. Just take this summer for example. Cinema goers are being bombarded with Shrek The Third, Spider-Man 3, The Bourne Ultimatum, and a third Pirates Of The Caribbean. While Matt Damon’s third is yet to be released, the general consensus on the other three has been disappointment. This exploitation of lovable characters has to stop somewhere, and Eli Roth is ready to stand up and fight the system.

According to MTV, the Hostel director has already announced that the second film will be the last of his torture-porn franchise. Citing critical failures like Beyond the Thunderdome and Halloween 3, Eli Roth will move on to other projects like the wildly inventive Trailer Trash and his adaptation of Stephen King’s “Cell.” I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t be happier with this news. Hollywood has a long history of milking ideas for all they’re worth, and it’s about time directors began saying no to money-grubbing studios.

Hostel: Part 2 will hit theatres on June 8th. I don’t really think this movie will have any problem making money; however, I do encourage you to go support it. Eli Roth is a talented director, and judging by today’s news, he’s one of the best friends movie audiences will ever have.

yes i think hostel part 3 would be amazing they should have it alot more gory and terifying and by the end it gets closed down and all the members of the organisation themselves would get tortured
plus i love eli so mutch he is a gorgeous hunk sooooo cute x

Are you serious? I watched the first one last night and that was the biggest joke of a horror movie!!!!!!! To all you people that love movies like this and SAW, please shoot yourself. You haven't a clue of what a good movie, let alone a good horror movie is. Hostel is poorly written and even more poorly executed. I didn't care about the characters enough to be all on the edge of my seat, in fact i found myself hoping the elite hunters would just shoot them and end this horrible excuse for a movie...........

I think a 3rd movie of Hostel is a must. It is needed to bring a sense of closure. I like Kyle's idea that was posted here. That is exactly what I was thinking. The Hostel 3 closing the torture industry down with some scenes of major payback and a sense of justice. I see great potential.

A thir Hostel movie would be great. The ending to the second one was awesome the way she bought her way out of there. A third one to conclude the trilogy could be how the word gets out to other countries and governments (The United States) and government officials try to stop it and have to go under cover or something, have the same woman who surived the second one in it good or bad, and explain why he collects the heads in his house. There is alot you could still do with it. Use your imagination!!

How can this be good?? Let's be realistic here. With all the "slasher" movies which have been listed in Horror are a joke. i.e. I know what you did Last Summer, Scream, all stupid typical High School Movies. ELI ROTH is a genius. Cabin Fever was one of my all time favorites, and then came Hostel. Espeicially living in Europe, so close to Prague, and Brataslava. No doubt we all dont want to see part 3 being all about the girl who survived and have her be the one to bring down "Elite Hunting" but I know ELI can pull this one off. He even said himself, when you sit down to watch Hostel, you expect to see people get fucked up.
Take the SAW series for example. I watched part 4 and thought it was great. The door is still again open for part 5 and 6 which they say is coming. So how is that possible, but with a masterpiece like Hostel.
Touristas tried to copy Hostel and it was horrible. That's the brilliance of Eli Roth. He wont tolerate a bad movie. Hostel 2 wasnt the best, but I know he can do one more. PLEASE ELI. Make this happen.

This sounds pretty good. I'm not sure a thrid Hostel would make the movie look any better. For the torture franchise it looks like Saw has it dominated.
