Paramount Pictures is doing something extremely cool this weekend involving their upcoming R Rated puppet extravaganza.

This Saturday, October 9th, on 800 screens, Paramount pictures is having sneak previews of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s newest flick Team America: World Police. The film opens nationwide next weekend and this move on Paramount’s behalf, while it is extremely cool, benefits there last release Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Whatever money the preview generates goes right into the gross of the studio’s last release, which has always been the case of sneak previews. Sky Captain’s box office take has been dropping steadily and this move may hike it back up on the weekend countdown.

Regardless of Paramount’s motives....A sneak preview of Team America is a great little surprise. Check your local listings to see where the closest theatre near you hosting it is. If you want to wait, the World Police lets loose October 15th.
