Not Amazing Norwegian Avatar Poster
I don’t really understand America’s obsession with having big, stupid floating heads in their posters. It almost always looks incredibly cheesy and devoids the poster of any and all artistic value. Until now, that “technique” seemed to be solely used by the awful Hollywood marketing system, but today, Norway seems to have dived into the kitschy world of bad photoshopping as well.
Posters are generally there to evoke some sort of emotion, but this time the only effect is an uncomfortable feeling I’m getting from the Na’vi staring at me with a twinkle of rape in its eye. This poster fails to make me want to see the movie, and just leaves me wondering what the hell that big winged creature is. Norway, fail. Thanks to Avatar Movie Zone for the image. ![]() |
