Oliver Drops Stones

discussioncomments published: 2004-09-22 00:00:00 Author: Bill Beyrer
For those of you have been waiting patiently for Oliver Stone’s latest flick I’m sad to announce you’re gonna have to wait a little longer.

Warner Brothers has pulled it’s three-hour epic Alexander from it’s November 5th slot siting that they don’t want the film’s marketing campaign to conflict with last minute political advertisements for Election Day November 2nd. Instead the Colin Farrel led opus will bow the day before Thanksgiving going head to head with Tim Allen holiday comedy Christmas with the Kranks.

It is also being said that the WB moved Alexander so it would be closer to the other Oscar hopefuls. No word yet as to whether or not they’re just saying that because they are really piss scared of The Incredibles. Alexander hits theatres November 24th.

UPDATE:
A new poster for the flick just turned up online. I'm only assuming the next one is going to be even more of a close-up on Farrell.
