In Wes Anderson's Rushmore, Olivia Williams and Bill Murray made for quite the interesting couple: she played a widow still in love with her ex-husband, while he was a miserable married man having an affair. It was an odd pairing to say the least, but it will probably only be weirder when they are playing the 32nd President of the United States and the First Lady.

Deadline reports that Williams is now the most likely candidate to play Eleanor Roosevelt in Hyde Park on the Hudson. Directed by Roger Mitchell and written by Richard Nelson, the is set in 1939 when King George VI decides to visit the President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Murray) and his wife in their home in Upstate New York, known as Hyde Park. Dealing with the run-up to World War II, things are only made more complicated when Eleanor discovers that Franklin has been having an affair with one of his cousins, who will be played by Laura Linney.

As much as I like the idea of Murray and Williams reuniting for the first time in 13 years (I really, really do), there's a significant issue with this potential casting choice: Eleanor was two years younger than Franklin in real life, while Williams is 18 years younger than Murray. This means that she is 12 years too young to play the part and he is 6 years too old. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how they handle the make-up.
