I have to admit I don’t have very high hopes for One Missed Call, which literally looks like it’s The Ring with cell phones. Answer the call from the dead person and you die! Even less interesting is the January 4th release date, a week too late to take advantage of the holiday season. Basically, it sounds like a tired plot premise being sandbagged into a bad part of the year, barely putting it on my radar.

My disinterest in the film aside, the new poster is hella-cool. Shock Till You Drop has gotten their hands on the exclusive poster, which features that creepy looking image you see to the right. I don’t know why, but switching around body parts like that completely wigs me out. The poster kind of gives the movie a Silent Hill vibe. If it wasn’t for everything else the movie had going against it, this might even draw my interest.
