We're due for our first look at Transformers: Dark of the Moon any day now, with the teaser trailer expected to show up online tomorrow and attached to both The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Tron: Legacy in the coming weeks. Now there's a teaser poster to kick things off even earlier. A JoBlo reader sent them an image purporting to be an early teaser poster for the Transformers threequel, the same image that Comic Book Movie snapped on the floor of the Licensing International Expo earlier this year. Even if the image may not necessarily be a real teaser poster, it's a legit offering and not just some fan-made poster passing itself off as real.

The poster, which you can see below and click to see larger at JoBlo, is pretty simply, showing Optimus Prime up close and personal, bathed in that classic Michael Bay golden light. It doesn't have the Dark of the Moon title, possibly because it was designed earlier this year before the title was in place, but TF3 still gets the point across pretty well. As uninterested as I am in the entire Transformers franchise, I still acknowledge this looks pretty good. Check it out below and stay tuned for the teaser trailer hitting the web tomorrow.
